Irena Lakić, a graduate sanitary engineer, publicly defended her final master's thesis entitled:

The successfully defended thesis represents a significant step in the long-term professional development and improvement of Irena Lakić, whose career path began in 1990, when, as a veterinary technician, she became an employee of the then Veterinary Institute immediately after completing her education.
This work is given special value by its experiential basis and long-standing dedication to the profession, which has resulted in a topic of importance for the fields of public health, microbiology, and drinking water safety.
The defended thesis will be posted in its entirety on the Institute's website and as such will be additionally available to the interested professional and scientific public. Based on the results and experience gained, the publication of scientific papers is also planned, so that this valuable contribution will be further scientifically presented and accessible to the wider community.
