Representatives of VIRSVB participated in the 5th International Conference on ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE – CURRENT STATE AND PERSPECTIVES, held in Novi Sad from May 28-30, 2026. The conference is organized by the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad. The conference brings together experts from human and veterinary medicine, the environment, public health, regulatory bodies, academia, and industry. The conference addresses the problems of antimicrobial resistance through a comprehensive One Health approach and aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge, enhance cross-sectoral cooperation, and contribute to the development of effective and applicable solutions in the fight against antimicrobial resistance. Representatives of VIRSVB, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka, presented the paper "Investigation of antimicrobial resistance and biofilm-forming ability of isolates Salmonella spp. поријеклом од живине“ (аутори Голић Б., Крнета Д., Божић Љ., Недић Д., Кнежевић Д.).
